WPP Jeddah Factory inauguration

On Saturday December 23rd, 2017 and in the presence of Vice Chairman Sheikh Fahad bin Suleiman Al Rajhi, Board members and General Manager of the western sector of the Saudi Industrial Property Authority (Modon) Eng. Haytham Abu Mansour, Sheikh Suleiman bin Abdul Aziz Al Rajhi, the Chairman of Al Watania for Industries inaugurated Al Watania Paper Products (WPP) factory in Jeddah, which is the Largest Factory of corrugated carton in the Middle East with an area of 77 thousand square meters and a capacity of 172, 000 metric tons annually. In his statement on this occasion, Al Watania Industries’ CEO of Eng. Ibrahim Behairi, said: “Based on the wise guidance of the Chairman Sheikh Sulaiman bin Abdul Aziz Al Rajhi, according to results of meticulous studies of the market status, the industrial renaissance Saudi Arabia is witnessing and depending on the size of supply and demand of carton products, it has been decided to establish a new factory (Al Watania Paper Products) in the third industrial city in Jeddah. Nearly a quarter billion riyals was invested in this huge project which, with the help of Allah, will meet the needs of corrugated carton of all industrial and commercial sectors in line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, the national transformation program 2020 and the program of increasing the local industrial content to promote economic growth, local capacity and creation of new industrial jobs. We are proud of our new project and are looking forward to studying many other investment opportunities that will hopefully contribute to Saudization and localization and benefit our country. It is worth mentioning that Al Watania for Industries is one of WAQF Sheikh Suleiman bin Abdul Aziz Al Rajhi. It is also considered one of the leading Saudi companies and is classified among the top 100 Saudi companies for several years.
