WFI OBTAINS IMSS CERTIFICATES

Al Watania for Industries and its Strategic Business Units has obtained certificates of Integrated Management Systems such as Quality Management System Certificate (ISO 9001), International Environmental Management System Standards Certificate (ISO 14001) and Occupational Health and Safety Management System Certificate (OHSAS 18001). In the presence of Vice Chairman Sheikh Fahd bin Sulaiman Al- Rajhi, the representative of the certifying body the General Manager of (Intertek) Business Assurance Mr. Samir Ahmed handed the certificates to the CEO Engr. Ibrahim Behairi and Heads of SBUs during the annual events held on Friday March 9th, 2018. On his part, Vice Chairman Sheikh Fahd bin Suleiman Al- Rajhi honoured the CEO Engr. Ibrahim Behairi with a certificate of appreciation for his great and fruitful efforts in improving and developing a culture of health and safety in the work environment. In a speech he delivered on this occasion, he mentioned that Al Watania for Industries has achieved 11 million safe working hours by the end of 2017. Also, lost time injuries accident minimized from 42 to 8 during the period 2015 – 2017. Corporate EHS Manager Mr. Mahaboobulla Sharif said, The Certificates are awarded by Intertek International Institution and are approved by the UKAS Accreditation Body. Those Certificates come as a confirmation that the services provided by Al-Watania Industries, are aligned with the Company’s vision, objectives and mission to provide the best and highest standards in its products, services and work practice.
